    Our kayak guides are trained to the standards of the American Canoe Association, one of the most established paddlesports bodies in the world: technique, rescue, group leadership and decisions when conditions change. A different kind of half term

Five days away from screens and out enjoying the Costa Blanca.

Our October Camp gives children the chance to spend half term outdoors, trying different activities, building confidence, making friends and having fun with the Siesta Advisor team.

Throughout the week we mix water sports, outdoor adventures, games and nature-based activities, adapting each day to the weather and conditions. The emphasis is on fun, adventure and taking part, not serious training.

What they'll do

Sea, sand, trails and games

Activities vary depending on weather and sea conditions. Our team plans each day around the safest and most enjoyable conditions available.

Halloween Friday

We finish the week with a special Halloween celebration: a costume contest, a pizza party, games and prizes. Children are welcome to come dressed up if they want to.

Fancy dress is not compulsory, but we would love them to join in!

Who is it for?

Ages 6 to 17, every level of confidence.

Whether they already spend every summer with us or are joining Siesta Advisor for the first time, the camp is designed to help children get involved at their own level. Groups are organised so activities remain appropriate for the children taking part, and our team keeps the atmosphere friendly, active and supportive.

Five days of adventure in Jávea

Every day starts and finishes at the Siesta Advisor Office. The programme changes with the sea and the weather, so the week is built around the best conditions available each day.

Before you book

What happens if the weather is bad?

We adapt the programme to the conditions. October Camp is not dependent on one particular activity, so our team can change the day’s plan based on the sea and the weather.

Does my child need previous experience?

No. Children can join without previous experience in kayaking, SUP or surfing.

Does my child need to be a strong swimmer?

Children taking part in water activities should be comfortable in the water. Appropriate safety equipment is provided.

What should they bring?

Swimwear, towel, comfortable clothes, trainers, sun protection, water bottle and a change of clothes. We send parents the full information before camp.

Is food included?

Yes. Lunch and snacks are included.

Can siblings join?

Yes. We offer 10% off for siblings: add every child to the same booking and the discount is applied automatically.

Is Halloween fancy dress compulsory?

No, but we would love them to join in!

Where do we drop off and collect?

At the Siesta Advisor Office, Avenida de Paris 35, Jávea, at 09:00 and 17:00, unless we tell you otherwise for a specific activity.

What do you need to know about my child?

Please tell us in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, medication or additional needs, so the team can look after your child properly.
