  • What ACA and First Aid mean for you

Our kayak guides are trained to the standards of the American Canoe Association, one of the most established paddlesports bodies in the world: technique, rescue, group leadership and decisions when conditions change. Every guide also holds a current first aid certificate. You are led by trained professionals, not just good paddlers.

  • Why ISO certification matters

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management and ISO 14001 the standard for environmental management. Certification means the way we plan, run and review every activity, and the way we look after the coastline we work on, is written down, followed and checked by an independent auditor.

What makes this camp special

The coast before the crowds

Easter Camp is not simply Summer Camp held at a different time of year. With fewer children, quieter beaches and a coastline without the peak-summer crowds, Easter gives us the freedom to go further: longer kayak expeditions, hidden-cove adventures, sea cave exploration, snorkelling, surfing, paddle boarding, coasteering, hiking and some of Siesta Advisor’s most exclusive outdoor activities.

Because groups are smaller, our team can be more flexible with the programme, adapt activities to the conditions and give children more personal attention throughout the day. Rather than rushing between activities, Easter Camp gives children time to properly experience each adventure. It feels less like a traditional childcare programme and more like a week of real outdoor adventures.

What they'll experience

Two adventures every day

A substantial morning activity, then lunch and another afternoon experience. The programme changes with the sea, the weather and the group, so no two Easter Camps need to feel the same.

  • KayakingProper coastal adventures rather than paddling close to the beach: hidden coves, dramatic cliffs and some of Jávea’s most beautiful coastline.
  • Sea Cave ExplorationOne of the experiences that makes Easter Camp special: kayaks give access to caves, formations and hidden areas that turn a day into a genuine expedition.
  • SnorkellingClear Mediterranean water, marine life and underwater rock formations, becoming more comfortable and confident in the sea.
  • Paddle BoardingFrom balance and technique to games, races and small SUP adventures.
  • SurfingWhen the waves arrive, we surf: the fundamentals, balance, resilience and ocean awareness.
  • CoasteeringFor campers ready for something more adventurous: coastal exploration, swimming and movement through Jávea’s rugged coast under professional supervision.
  • Hiking & ExplorationViewpoints, coastline, trails and natural areas: a different way to explore.
  • Beach Games & ChallengesTeam competitions, treasure hunts, races and spontaneous challenges between the bigger adventures.
What the programme looks like

Smaller groups, bigger experiences.

Compared with the busy summer programme, Easter normally allows us to operate with smaller, more intimate groups. That changes what is possible: groups are easier to move between locations, guides can give more personal attention, and adventures that would be difficult with a much larger camp become possible.

  • Explore further along the coastline
  • Longer on each adventure
  • Quieter coves and natural areas
  • More specialised, exclusive activities
  • More individual attention

Safety & professional care

Adventure, with professional care behind it

  • Professionally Qualified Instructors

Activities are supervised by experienced instructors with relevant professional qualifications, including ACA paddlesports training and First Aid certification.

  • Small Supervision Ratios

Approximately 1 staff member for every 8 children, allowing closer supervision and better group management.

Weather, wind and sea conditions are assessed continuously. If the environment changes, so do we: the order of activities, the location or the activity itself.

What children gain

What stays with them

  1. Confidence & Independence

Trying new activities encourages children to push themselves, make decisions and discover what they are capable of.

  2. Adventure & Curiosity

Every activity gives them something new to explore, from what lies inside a sea cave to what can be found beneath the surface of the Mediterranean.

  3. Connection with Nature

Rather than spending the school holidays indoors, children spend their days surrounded by the sea, beaches, cliffs and natural landscapes of Jávea.

  4. Friendships & Teamwork

Smaller Easter groups create a particularly social camp environment where children quickly get to know one another and learn to work together.

  5. New Skills

Kayaking, surfing, SUP, snorkelling and outdoor exploration all develop practical skills through genuine experiences.

  6. Time Away From Screens

Easter Camp is active, outdoors and hands-on. There is always another beach to explore, wave to catch, cave to discover or challenge to complete.

What comes home with them

Short, colourful and fun.

  • Camp T-ShirtA Siesta Advisor camp keepsake.
  • Photos & VideosMemories captured throughout their adventures.
  • New FriendshipsShared adventures, new people and plenty of memories.

“Best Summer Camp”

What an awesome week Sam had at the summer camp! Huge thanks to Arthur, Maria and Henry — you guys absolutely rocked it! 😄 Sam came back every day full of stories about kayaking, snorkeling, discovering secret little coves… honestly, he didn’t stop talking! He had the best time, made new friends, tried new things, and just had so much fun outdoors. We’re super grateful for the good vibes and the care you put into everything. Already looking forward to the next time!!! ☀️🏖️🏄

Parents' questions

The things you want to know before you book

What ages is Easter Camp for?

Easter Camp is for children and teenagers aged 7 to 16, with activities adapted to age, confidence and ability. No previous experience is needed.

When is it and what does it cost?

Easter Camp runs during the Easter school holidays and costs €275 per week for the Half Day and €375 per week for the Full Day. The exact dates are confirmed by the camp team each year: register your interest and we send you the dates as soon as they are set.

Where does the day start?

Easter Camp does not stay in one place: Jávea becomes our playground. Depending on the day and the conditions, campers travel to different beaches, coastal areas, trails and activity locations. Parents are told the meeting point for each day.

What should my child bring?

Swimwear · Towel · Filled water bottle · Sunscreen · Water shoes · Comfortable outdoor footwear · Change of dry clothes · Warm layer or light jacket · Hat or cap · Additional snacks if desired. Activity-specific equipment is provided by Siesta Advisor.

What if my child doesn’t know anybody?

That’s completely normal. Many campers arrive without knowing anyone. Our team actively helps children integrate into the group, join in and make new friends from the first day. Jávea brings together families from many countries, so camp is naturally multilingual and multicultural.

Do you follow the same activity schedule every time?

No. The programme changes according to the weather, the sea and the group. We monitor conditions carefully and choose the activities and locations that give the best and safest adventure available that day. If the weather prevents the planned outdoor activity, alternative activities, games and challenges are organised.

What do you need to know about my child?

Please tell us in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, medication or additional needs, so the team can look after your child properly.
