Cala Blanca
Mirador 5 of 15 · best: mornings for swimming

Cala Blanca

Pale rock, turquoise water and a cove that once landed the tuna catch; the first place on the route you will want to swim.

Also known as Mirador de la Cala Blanca

Cala Blanca takes its name from the white rock that frames it. It is really two small coves and a rock platform, and the contrast between the pale stone and the deep turquoise water is the reason every photographer stops here. In the days of the almadrava, the great tuna nets set off this coast, the catch was brought ashore on this beach.

The mirador sits above the northern cove looking out over the ledges towards the Cap de Sant Antoni. Steps and a natural opening in the rock lead down to the smaller Caletes beyond. It is a swimming and snorkelling place as much as a viewpoint, so leave time for the water.
