Where the coast stands up: the first cliff-top balcony of the route, looking back along the whole bay to Montgó.
Also known as Mirador de les Caletes
South of Cala Blanca the shoreline stops being a shelf and starts being a cliff. The Mirador de les Caletes stands at the top of the second of the small coves that give it its name, and it is the first place on the route where you feel height under your feet.
Turn round and the bay you have just ridden is laid out in one piece: the Muntanyar ledges, the Arenal, the town on its hill and Montgó behind it, with the Cap de Sant Antoni closing the picture to the north. In the evening the sun sets behind Montgó and the whole bay goes copper. It is a short stop, and one of the best.
