The easternmost point of the Valencian coast: a lighthouse on the cliff, Ibiza on the horizon and a sea cave at your feet.

The Cap de la Nau is where the coast turns. It is the most easterly point of the Valencian Community, the closest the mainland gets to Ibiza (about 85 km, visible on the clearest days), and the traditional divide between the gulfs of Valencia and Alicante. The octagonal lighthouse stands 122 m above the sea and its beam reaches more than twenty miles out.
There are several balconies around the point. South you look down the Benitatxell cliffs past the Illa del Descobridor; north back up the coast to Cap Negre. Directly under the cliff is the Cova dels Orguens, a sea cave that can only be entered from the water, and our Cova dels Orguens kayak tour from the Portitxol does exactly that.
