Named after the cliff fishermen who lowered themselves on ropes to cane platforms above the sea; the lighthouse in profile.
Also known as Mirador de les Pesqueres
The pesqueres de cingle were one of the most dangerous trades this coast has known. Fishermen climbed down the cliffs on ropes to platforms of cane lashed to the rock, and fished from them above the swell, sometimes for days. The mirador that carries their name is on the seaward side of the Cap de la Nau, and it is the best place to see the cliffs they worked.
The view is towards the lighthouse itself, standing on its cliff with the Illa del Descobridor beyond, and down to the water of Cala en Caló. It is a quieter stop than the cape, and a good one for photographs of the lighthouse.
