Mirador La Falzia, one of Javea's 15 viewpoints, is a part of the "Ruta de los Miradores" scenic route. With over a decade of living in Javea, it is by far one of the most beautiful miradors in Javea, and here’s why.
It sits on the eastern coast and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, Cala Portixol, Portixol Island, Cap Prim and Cabo de San Antonio. You can park your car right next to the viewpoint after which a very short walk will take you to the incredible mirador la Falzia.
It's not just a place for photography and sightseeing but also a great spot for romantic dates, gatherings with friends and family, as well as watching Javea's beautiful sunsets!
Mirador la Falzia is a unique viewpoint in Javea that offers visitors an opportunity to experience nature in its purest form. The viewpoint is surrounded by lush greenery and a variety of Mediterranean plants and trees, making it a perfect place to connect with nature.
Additionally, there are multiple benches available where visitors can sit, relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding area all whilst being under the shade of all the Mediterranean foliage that surrounds you.
Mirador la Falzia is located on the eastern coastline of Javea, in the province of Alicante, Spain. More specifically, it is located at the end of Calle Pagre, just off the famous coastal road of Javea, Carretera del Portitxol.
It is a 10 minute drive from central javea, and can easily be located by typing “Calle Pagre 22, Javea” into your GPS
Parking at Mirador la Falzia can be found directly at the entrance of the path leading to the mirador on Calle Pagre. There is sufficient roadside parking there for more than a dozen cars, so you never have to worry about parking!
As we briefly mentioned, getting to mirador la Falzia once you have parked at Calle Pagre takes a very short walk on a gravelly path. The path is no longer than 20 meters, after which you are met with a bench overlooking Javea’s incredible coastline. It is easily accessible for family with little children, or even those with physical disabilities.
Mirador la Falzia is different from other miradors in Javea due to its size and location. In other words, thanks to the multiple benches located around mirador la Falzia, as well as the natural foliage that shades the area during the summer heat, you can do a lot of things there!
Mirador Cap Negre offers a breathtaking view of sunsets as the sun dips below the Mediterranean Sea, casting a beautiful array of colors across the sky. It's an ideal spot to watch the sunset, and it's a popular location among photographers.
Mirador Cap Negre is an excellent location for stargazing and observing shooting stars, thanks to its distance from city lights and pollution, resulting in a clear sky and bright stars. You can even use one of the multiple benches at mirador la Falzia to lay down and observe the night sky above you!
This viewpoint offers a chance to experience the natural beauty of Javea in a truly breathtaking way, whether you're looking for a romantic date spot, a place to watch the sunset or stargaze, or simply a place to relax and unwind. It's a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Javea.
In addition to offering a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea and the coastline of Javea, Mirador La Falzia is also a perfect spot for picnics. With its lush greenery and a variety of Mediterranean plants and trees, it offers a peaceful and natural setting for enjoying a meal outdoors. The benches provide a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while having a picnic.
I was hesitant to share this local secret with everyone, but I have decided that it would be unfair to keep such a special place to myself. There is another secret viewpoint, located near Mirador Cap Negre, that is not officially labeled as a mirador. This means that only a select few people know about it.
It can be found at the end of Calle Joaquín Rodrigo, at the end of a short forest path.
The view from this location is truly incredible, making it the perfect spot to bring a few chairs, relax, take in the natural beauty of Javea or surprise someone with a romantic date. However, I encourage you to keep this spot a secret and enjoy it for yourself!
