Mirador de les Caletes is one of Javea's 15 viewpoint and is a part of the "Ruta de los Miradores" scenic route.
It sits on the eastern coast of Javea and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, as well as the famous Cala Blanca, Cala del Frances, Cala Sardinera and even Cap Prim!
Luckily this viewpoint is easily access as it is not too far from central Javea, nonetheless, you’ll need the right knowledge to be rewarded with an awe-inspiring view! It's not just a place for photography and sightseeing but also a great spot to explore surrounding hidden beaches and bays that not many people know about!
Mirador de les Caletes is located in Javea, a small town in the province of Alicante, Spain. It is just above Cala Blanca beach and next to the famous Cala del Frances. More specifically, it can be found on Camí Calablanca, just after Carrer de L’Escorpa.
For those travelling with GPS or Google Maps, you can equally search “Camí CalaBlanca 60, Javea”.
Mirador de la Caleta has limited parking available at Camí CalaBlanca, which can accommodate around 10 cars. However, this spot tends to fill up quickly, so here are some other options.
You can also find yourself roadside parking on Carrer de L’Escorpa, a sideroad just next to Mirador de la Caleta where there are usually spots for an additional 10 cars.
Carrer Illa, located next to Javea's famous coastal road, Carretera del Portitxol, is a great place to find roadside parking.
Avenida de Ultramar at the Aparcament Cala Blanca also offers parking, but it tends to fill up quickly and requires a short walk to reach Cala del Frances. We recommend considering the first two options for parking.
Mirador de les Chalets is not just a viewpoint, it also offers a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy. There are walking trails, picnic areas, and places to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Here are a few of our favourite things to do in the area!
