“Awesome Day Out”

Had an awesome time out on the water with Siesta Advisor. The whole tour was super chilled and such a fun way to see a different side of the coastline – the water was insanely clear, and getting to explore the caves was a real highlight. “Best Experience in Spain”

This is one of the best experiences we had in Spain on this trip. We were able to do kayaking, swimming in the caves and on beanches, snorkeling, and rock diving in a little over two and a half hours. “Amazing Experience!”

What an amazing experience! The kayak tour with Siesta Advisor was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Our guides, Luc and Callum, were super friendly, enthusiastic, and created a great atmosphere from the very beginning.     Bring drinking water, sunscreen (put it on before you arrive) and a hat or cap; sunglasses with a strap help on the water. A towel and dry clothes for afterwards. Travel light: valuables are best left at home.

  • Participants should have a basic level of fitness and be comfortable in the water.
  • All participants must be able to swim confidently.
  • Maximum recommended weight is 100 kg per person for safety and equipment stability.
  • Children aged 4 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Tell us in advance about any medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy or other health concerns.
  • No alcohol, drugs or anything that impairs judgement, balance or coordination.
  • Follow the guide's instructions at all times; we may refuse or stop participation if safety requirements aren't met.
  • Late arrivals or guests who miss the safety briefing may not be able to join.

Where do we meet?

On Playa del Torres in Villajoyosa, on the right-hand side as you face the sea. If you don't see us straight away, keep walking right – we may be just round the corner with the kayaks.

Where do I park?

For free on Avenida Riu Torres: there's plenty of space and it's a very short walk down to the beach.

What will we see?

Cala Fonda, a small rocky cove that's hard to reach by land, and Racó de Conill, known for its clear water – with stops to snorkel and swim.

Is there cliff jumping?

Yes, optional jumps where the guide has checked the depth. You never have to jump.

What marine life will we see?

Around the rocks: white seabream, shoals of salema, painted comber, rainbow wrasse, octopus, moray eels, starfish and sea urchins. Dolphins are a rare, lucky sighting; seahorses hide in the Posidonia seagrass but are very rarely seen. We never chase or touch wildlife.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, it's rated easy. Children from 4 can join with an adult, and everyone must be able to swim confidently.

Good to know

Rated easy, running all year with three departures a day. The route visits Cala Fonda and Racó de Conill, with time to snorkel and swim. Cliff jumping is optional, only where the guide has checked the depth. You paddle a stable double kayak; snorkel mask, water shoes and life jackets are included. We provide a snorkel mask; guests who own a snorkel and mask they love are encouraged to bring them. Dry bags are available on request on the day, so just ask the team when you arrive. Wetsuits are included whenever the water is cold. Not sure whether you'll need one on your date? Call or message us and we'll tell you. Photos and videos of your tour are complimentary, shared in an online folder within 24 to 48 hours and kept for 180 days. About 8–10 guests per guide, and usually two guides go out on each excursion. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start; changes within 24 hours cost €15 per participant; groups of 4 or more from June to September pay a 50% deposit. The safety briefing is given in Spanish and English, and in French or Dutch when a French- or Dutch-speaking guide is assigned to your group.
