The route starts at the top. The Cap de Sant Antoni is the great limestone shoulder that Montgó pushes out into the sea, and the mirador sits beside its lighthouse, built in 1855 and still working. Everything you will ride in the next few hours is visible from here: the port and fishing quarter directly below, the long curve of the Arenal, the Muntanyar rock shelves, Cap Prim and the Portitxol island, and on a clear morning the profile of the Sierra de Aitana far to the south-west. Look the other way and Ibiza sometimes floats on the horizon.
The cape is a marine reserve, and the water at its foot is the clearest on the coast. Our Cap de Sant Antoni kayak tour paddles right underneath this viewpoint into the reserve.
