Parking Siesta Advisor

The first and most recommended location is directly on Avenida del Mediterráneo, next to the "Pont de Triana", in front of the restaurant "Monsoon Thai" and next to Siesta Advisor. This parking lot is located directly on the beach and is a great option for visitors looking for the most convenient and easy access!

Calle Génova

The second location is on Calle Génova, which runs parallel to Avenida del Mediterráneo. This street is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and offers shaded parking amongst the local urbanization. It's a great option for visitors looking for a more secluded parking spot.

Avenida de Augusta

Finally, one street further down, on Avenida Augusta, you will 100% be able to find parking. This parking spot is also just a few minutes walk from the beach, and it's a great option for visitors looking for a guaranteed parking spot.

There are three different parking locations to choose from, each one just minutes away from the beach. Playa Montañar is a spacious and peaceful place, with fine, snow-white pebbles and crystal-clear waters. It's perfect for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing.

Lifeguard services

The lifeguards, also known as Cruz Roja, are an essential part of the beach's amenities and services. They are responsible for maintaining the safety of visitors and ensuring that everyone has a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

They can be found to the right hand side of the La Siesta Restaurant, or searching “Puesto Cruz Roja B88.4-A Playa Benissero” on Google.

The lifeguards are highly trained and experienced professionals who are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all beachgoers. They are equipped with all the necessary equipment and tools to provide first aid and respond to emergencies.

Something you may want to keep an eye out for are the flags portrayed at the lifeguard tower near the middle of the beach!

  • Red flag prohibits people from entering the water and swimming
  • White flag with purple jellyfish warns swimmers of stinging jellyfish in the water

They offer some wonderful cocktails to cool you down during your summer vacations, or some delightful local cuisine such as tapas and paellas! Despite these places only being open in the summer, we definitely recommend you to visit them whilst you visit playa Montañar. Here are a few of our recommendations:
