Is paddle boarding hard?
Not with a lesson first: the guide teaches balance, paddling and turning on the beach, and you can kneel on the board until you feel ready to stand.
Where does the tour go?
From the Primer Montañar along the cliffs of the Cabo de San Antonio reserve to Cala Tango and into the Turquoise Cave, with a snorkelling stop.
Can children join?
Yes, from 4 years old with an adult. Everyone must be able to swim confidently.
Does it run in winter?
Yes, all year, sea conditions permitting.
What marine life will we see?
Around the rocks: white seabream, shoals of salema, painted comber, rainbow wrasse, octopus, moray eels, starfish and sea urchins. Rare, lucky sightings: dolphins and, in early summer, fin whales passing the Cabo de San Antonio; seahorses hide in the Posidonia seagrass but are very rarely seen. We never chase or touch wildlife.
Paddle board or kayak?
Paddle boarding is more about balance and the view down into the water; kayaking covers more distance. Both tours go to Cala Tango – Kayak Cala Tango runs from 1 June to 15 October.
